Events By Mikey customizes every Sweet 16 to meet your needs and theme. Our vast experience has taught us that teenagers (and adults) get tired of the same old show. That’s why we are constantly updating our music, enhancements, latest trends, so each event is fresh and new. We get everyone involved and having fun without taking the spotlight off your child.
Our job starts long before your event takes place. To begin with, our event designers will sit down and give you personalized ideas in planning the details of the event that inline with your vision. From the grand entrance, Father/Daughter dance, Shoe ceremony, candle lighting ceremony, to the music, we’re there for you every step of the way.
Hey, we can’t be DJ’s without mentioning the music, which can sometimes be a little tricky at a Sweet 16. Let’s face it, most thirteen year olds have VERY different tastes in music from their parents! We recognize the difference and offer a huge library of thousands of songs that span the entire gamut from the oldies to top 40 mainstream and dance music of today. During the planning stages, we’ll go out of our way to find the right mix, making sure everybody feels included in the festivities.

We had an amazingly event thanks to Events by Mike! He captured the joyfull energy and had everyone pumped up and moving! He exceeded my expectations and kept us dancing all night long! The photo booth was exquisite and the center of attention! Great DJ great party and wonderful memories!

What are your prices? How much do you charge?
DJ Packages start @$788.00 Unlike many DJ companies, we show our pricing and don’t base our quote off where your event is being held. We have many years performing at events and know what the costs are. There are only a few situations that may cause a increase and they would be, not having alot of time to setup and we would need to bring in extra staff or your event is on a floor with no elevator.
How long in advance should I book my Entertainment?
We recommend retaining entertainment as soon as the date & venue have been confirmed.
Is setup and breakdown included?
Yes, setup & breakdown is included with every package.
What types of music will be played?
We make selecting music for your Sweet 16 super easy, whether you use the phone app or thru the online music planner. Our music library has music for all tastes and covers all genres, from the 1940’s to today’s top 40. All music is CLEAN versions.

Yes, we encourage it. You can send us a picture of your playlist and we will add the songs to your event playlist. Use our super cool phone app to add details and songs to your event. Add must play and don not play songs thru our online/App event planner.
